Alexander Joy in between1820-1892 of the New York first invented modern Baseball field in 1845, Alexander Cartwright and his members for his club New-York Knickerbocker Baseball, by devising the early rules and regulations for the modern type of Baseball. This game was totally based on the English game named Rounders. Rounder game was popular in Unites States in early century of 19th, where that game was also called as "town-ball" or "baseball". Modern rules and regulation formulized by the Cartwright.

The very first game recorded in Baseball was in year 1846 when the Alexander lost to the New York baseball club. That game was arranged at Elysian in New Jersey in1858. National association for the baseball players formed first organized league of baseball. Throughout early 19th century small town were also formed the teams and baseball clubs were also formed in larger cities as well. In 1858 Alexander wanted to formalized the list of rules by through all team could play that game. Much of there original codes are still place today. Although some popular legends says that this game was invented by Doubleday, but the true father of baseball was Cartwright .

However in early 1860,s there was a time of great turmoil in Unites States. There was a civil war in those years and the number of Baseball clubs dramatically dropped. But the interest of Baseball game carried out to other parts of he country by the Union Soldiers, and when war ended there were much more people saying baseball than ever before. Delegating from 100 clubs the league's annual convention drew in 1868. As this league grew so did the expenses of the Baseball playing and teams often had to seek out the donations or the sponsors to make trips.
